Naughtie chair for the Maestro
The judges for the 2009 Man Booker Prize have been announced.
In the chair will be the broadcaster James Naughtie, long-time presenter of the Today programme and Bookclub on BBC Radio 4.
He will be joined by John Mullan, academic, journalist, broadcaster and author of How Novels Work; Michael Prodger, the literary editor of The Sunday Telegraph; Lucasta Miller, biographer and critic; and comedian Sue Perkins, winner of BBC2's Maestro programme to find a celebrity conductor for the Last Night of the Proms.
